Athletic Training Room

The University of Evansville Athletic Training room is equiped with the latest rehabilitation and training equipment needed for a Division I athletic program.

Students utilize the “Shuttle System” to demonstrate lower body, closed kinetic chain exercises in order to rehabilitate a knee injury.

Students utilize the new otoscopes and opthalmascopes in order to learn how to identify some common ear and eyes athletic injuries such as: corneal lacerations, ruptured eardrums, and detached retinas.

at4 Students will learn proper technique and application on three new ultrasound and electrical stimulation units.  Students will learn proper technique first then they will be tested on application of their skills.
at5 Students will perform proper splinting techniques by utilizing three new splint bags on various sprains and fractures.
at6 Students will also understand when it is appropriate and how to properly remove a facemask using the new FMXtractor and four new football helmets.
