Clinical Exercise Science Minor

The Clinical Exercise Science minor prepares students for careers related to exercise in a clinical setting. The curriculum of the minor has been designed to prepare the student for the application of exercise and physical activity in those clinical and pathological situations where it has been shown to provide therapeutic or functional benefit.

Required Courses: EXSS 244 (Practicum in EXSS); EXSS 417 (Advanced Biomechanics); EXSS 428 (Cardiac Rehabilitation); EXSS 499 (Special Topics in EXSS); HS 205 (Pharmacology); BIOL 436 (Human Physiology); REL 350 (God, Suffering, and Evil); PSYC 357 (Physiological Psychology); PT 303 (Scientific Inquiry).
